QBE (ASX:QBE) Acquires Seattle Specialty Insurance Services, Inc.
QBE announced that its subsidiary, Sterling National Corporation, has acquired Seattle Specialty Insurance Services, Inc. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed. Headquartered in Everett, Wash., Seattle Specialty Insurance Services has provided insurance services to financial institutions since 1992. It will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Sterling National, under the continued leadership of founder, President and CEO, Rick Pedack.

Rainmaker Systems (NASDAQ:RMKR) Opens Second Site in RP for US Clients
Rainmaker Systems Philippines, Inc., provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) telesales services and e-commerce solutions, formally opened its second site in Makati, saying the country offered the firm the most "effective cost reduction schemes." Micheal Silton, Rainmaker Systems chief executive officer, told reporters the new site has 412 seats and 250 more production seats. Rainmaker Systems aims to expand capacity to 2,012 seats "in the near future," he said.

TCS (NSE:TCS) Wins 250 Million Stg UK Contract
India's top software services firm Tata Consultancy Services Ltd said on Wednesday its UK subsidiary Diligenta has won two life and pension contracts totaling 250 million pounds in revenue in the United Kingdom. The contracts were awarded by Phoenix group and Old Mutual International, the Indian firm said in a statement.

Unisys (NYSE:UIS) Announces Sale of UK-Based Insurance and Pension Processing Business
Unisys Corporation announced that it has sold Unisys Insurance Services Limited (UISL) to Diligenta Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services Limited. UISL, which is headquartered in the UK and has operations in Liverpool and Bournemouth, provides business process outsourcing services to the UK life and pensions industry. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
